Circus Ponies Software, Inc. is a Santa Monica-based software company that provides software programs exclusively for the Mac OS X. Among many of its achievements, it is home to the multi award-winning Mac application Circus Ponies NoteBook that allows users to keep better track of their notes.
“I’m Jayson Adams, president of Circus Ponies Software in Santa Monica, California. We make NoteBook, which is a tool to get organized on the Mac. We contacted Dragil to help us with our web infrastructure which includes our website, our online store, our discussion forums for customers and our technical support call tracking system.”

Dragil approached the initial phase with a focus on repairing several pre-existing bugs and smaller issues that plagued the website. This included several Zencart-related programming issues, along with a few design related inconsistencies.
Following this, the Dragil team took over the maintenance for the Ruby on the Rails-based client tracking system that allowed our team to add this advanced programming language to its service portfolio. Although our main focus was on using PHP and its associated frameworks (Zend, CakePHP, Qcodo and others), our goal was to ensure a flawless transition.
We then recommended the newest trends of online marketing, such as the creation of a Facebook Fan Page, a Twitter profile and organic search engine optimization in order to maintain Circus Ponies’ excellent search engine rankings for its most relevant keywords.
We are currently working on further updates and website maintenance to ensure the most recent developments and advancements for e-commerce solutions are in place as well as engaging in more advanced methods of how to bind existing clients. With more than 4,000 users of Circus Ponies NoteBook, the potential exists to bring this online community together to share the many benefits of this remarkable product.
