FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sep 29, 2008 – PALO ALTO, Calif. – Bay Area businesses seeking new web development services might want to unleash the dragon of technology on their project. Palo Alto-based Dragil, Inc. (which uses a dragon as its logo) announced today the launch of its web development firm dedicated to quality and strong customer value with an agreement with Palo Alto-based residential real estate firm Dreyfus Properties as its first client.
“We are excited about our strategic partnership with Dreyfus Properties,” said Peter Krmpotic, founder of Dragil. “They are a great partner that gave us an opportunity to demonstrate what we could do to enhance their high-end brand and functionality online.”
Dragil is enhancing Dreyfus Properties brand online by creating and deploying a variety of data interpretation tools for customers to use when investigating residential market conditions at the firm’s website. Along with the traditional multiple listing service (MLS) search functionality, Dragil is adding a member section where selected buyers and sellers have access to valuable information traditionally only available to agents and brokers. They are also adding a statistics function where clients can easily uncover the current median and selling prices for homes in the Bay Area and view historical prices for a particular home up to ten years ago.
“Our first client, Dreyfus Properties is a high-end real estate agency that serves clients in Silicon Valley,” Krmpotic said. “They expected from us a quality product, strong customer service and innovative tools that really provided value to their upper-income client base. The data mining functionality we are adding to their website will definitely provide more added value for their homebuyers and potentially more sales for Dreyfus.”
Added value is what Dragil is all about. First of all, the company adheres to the concept of “right shoring” by employing local designers to create the front-end and in-house engineers to specify the application. This critical work provides important jobs in the Bay Area instead of offshore locations. Second, Dragil uses a wide variety of web development tools not usually used by its competitors, such as Axure and quality assurance tools such as WinRunner.
“We will invest a portion of every sale back in optimizing the customer experience through smarter and smoother processes,” Krmpotic said. “Many of our competitors don’t take these extra steps to ensure that customers have an easy experience with the development process. In fact, many of them ask their customers to run the quality assurance check to find bugs in the development process. We refuse to hand over to the client a product that has not passed our intensive quality assurance process first.”
Another added value that Dragil provides for its customers is a complete software requirements specification (SRS) in advance that provides the user with an opportunity to tell what the application will look like in advance. Any changes or additions are then integrated during this strategic planning phase saving clients substantial money before moving to the coding phase.
“Our client really appreciated this customer service because they were able to make critical changes without experiencing high costs and time delays,” said Krmpotic. “This extra step is a unique part of the Dragil quality planning process.”
